MediaBox is a creative design and production studio specializing in film and television, marketing, branding and commercial design. With its roots in Marquette, MI, the MediaBox team leverages its conceptual thinking and deep experience to help some of the most diverse companies across the country to communicate their message. The company mission is to fuse smart conceptual ideas with the cutting edge crafts of full-motion electronic media in an effort to distinguish brands, identities, stories and experience.
The dialog between MediaBox and our clients is the most important ingredient to the design process. We strive to become one with our clients, understanding their needs and goals to have a better opportunity to make successful projects. The Team
- John Major, founder - Based in Michigan, John specializes in commercials, documentaries, short films, and image content for use across all media formats. The powerful visuals for which he is best known are derived from a background of graphic design, photography and lighting. John continues to raise the creative bar with each new project by combining his elegant photographic style with powerful editing skills that result in work that is unmatched in creativity and technical superiority.
His work has appeared accross the nation, including networks such as CNN, ESPN, FOX and MTV. - Bilan Nelson, designer - A graduate of the acclaimed Bradley University's Slane College of communication and fine arts, Bilan's attention to detail is exceptional even to the most demanding perfectionists. Filling a dual roll at MediaBox Bilan continues to raise the level of graphic creativity and project management.
- Adam Szymanski, web developer - From his roots in information and systems management, Adam has transcended the journey to web development in ways few can aspire to. Hailing from the Detroit suburbs of Royal Oak, this Kettering University alum utilizes his knowledge of development code to offer a level of superior functionality and optimization few can deliver. Combined with the unique visual esthetics MediaBox is known for, Adam's keen sense of balance between end user experience and tight, clean code make for extraordinary results.
From simple to complex e-commerce sites, Adam's been doing it all for over 10 years. - Frida Waara, writer/producer - Whether visual or aural, the success of every project builds from a script. Frida is an Emmy Award winning documentary producer who is as comfortable editing words as she is pictures. A 30 year veteran of the media world, she considers herself a lifelong storyteller.
